Globo Novela Edge of Desire Heads to Ecuador

The Globo telenovela Edge of Desire has been slated for a February 27 premiere on Ecuavisa in Ecuador, scoring a 10 p.m. slot.

The novela aired on Globo in the 9 p.m. hour, averaging a daily reach of around 48 million viewers. It stars Juliana Paes (India: A Love Story, Gabriela) as Fabiana, an ambitious woman who drops out of law school for love and winds up getting entangled in the criminal underbelly. The series is written by Gloria Perez, who won an International Emmy for India: A Love Story.

Ecuavisa has already aired a number of other successful Globo series such as Brazil Avenue, Trail of Lies, Brave Woman and Irrational Heart.
