Acorn TV’s The Madame Blanc Mysteries Returns for Season Four

The Madame Blanc Mysteries has been slated to return with a two-episode premiere on July 7 in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand on Acorn TV, with additional episodes dropping weekly.

The crime drama is created by and stars Sally Lindsay (Cold Call, Love Rat). In the fourth season, the series will return to Sainte Victoire, where there are unusual antiques and objéts d’art, murder, mystery, sunshine and laughter. Lindsay reprises her role as Jean White, who is navigating a romance with her sidekick Dom Hayes, played by Steve Edge (Starlings, Murder They Hope, Maxine).

Other cast members include co-writer Sue Vincent (Mount Pleasant, Shameless) as mechanic Gloria Beaushaw, Tony Robinson (Blackadder, Time Team) as Dom’s Uncle Patrick and Paul Chuckle (Elliott) as Trevor, Gloria’s dad. Robin Askwith (Strike, Benidorm) and Sue Holderness (Only Fools and Horses, Still Open All Hours, The Green Green Grass) also return.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries is directed by Dermot Boyd and produced by Jake Rollins. The executive producers are Clapperboard’s Mike Benson and Andy Morgan, with Saffron Cherry’s Sally Lindsay and Caroline Roberts-Cherry.
