Globo Novela Rock Story to Air in Israel

The Globo telenovela Rock Story has been picked up by Dori Media Group to air in Israel on the pay-TV channels Viva and Viva Plus.

The music-filled love story has reached an average 37 million daily viewers and a 44 percent share in Brazil. In Israel, the show will be subtitled in Hebrew and Russian.

Set against the backdrop of the music industry, Rock Story centers on Gui (Vladimir Brichta, Above Justice), a washed-up rock star who needs to reinvent himself after witnessing his career and personal life fall apart. He will be put to the test by fate while having the opportunity to change his ways when he loses his wife Diana (Alinne Moraes, Time After Time) to the star of the moment and his biggest rival. He also discovers that he has a teenage son and finds a new and unexpected love.
