Globo’s Brazil Avenue Lands in Thailand

SÃO PAULO: Thailand’s Media Plex cable channel has picked up the telenovela Brazil Avenue, marking the first time a Globo novela airs in the country.

The title will be dubbed into Thai, premiering in a 5:30 p.m. time slot. Brazil Avenue, which has been sold to more than 130 countries worldwide, also airs on two Mongolian channels and has landed in other Asian territories.

Written by João Emanual Carneiro, the novela deals with the revenge of young Nina (Débora Falabella) on her stepmother Carminha (Adriana Esteves).
