SÃO PAULO: Following deals in Armenia, Indonesia, Guatemala, Macau and Sweden, Globo's Brazil Avenue has once again broken its own licensing record, by being picked up in 130 countries.

This new milestone means that the telenovela will be present in close to 70 percent of the world's countries, including all of Latin America. Globo's previous licensing record-holder was Shades of Sin, which had been sold into 100 countries.

Brazil Avenue tells the story of a young woman who is determined to recover the life that was taken from her by her stepmother. The show, which stars Débora Falabella and Adriana Esteves, first began airing in Brazil in 2012.
