Brazil Avenue Continues to Travel Internationally

SÃO PAULO: Brazil Avenue has become Globo’s most internationally licensed telenovela, having sold into 106 countries in six months.

The novela has been dubbed into 14 languages, including Russian, Greek, Polish and French. Brazil Avenue has now surpassed Globo’s previous licensing record holder, Shades of Sin, which sold into 100 countries. The telenovela is currently being broadcast in Croatia, Greece, Uruguay, Panama and Ecuador. In Venezuela, where it airs on Venevision Plus, it has been a prime-time leader. In Portugal, on SIC, it is also a leader in its time slot.
