Univision’s tlnovelas Slates Televisa’s True Love

NEW YORK: Next week Univision’s tlnovelas network is set to premiere True Love (Amor Real), a popular Televisa telenovela that was first broadcast by Univision Network a decade ago.

The cast of True Love is led by Mexico’s Adela Noriega and Fernando Colunga. The series, which takes place during the mid-1800s in Mexico, revolves around a young aristocrat who falls in love with a middle-class soldier but is ultimately forced by her parents to marry a wealthy man. It is slated to debut on Monday, July 8 at 2 p.m. Encore marathons of the weekly episodes will air on the weekends.
