Globo Unveils Historical Telenovela Lady Revolution

SÃO PAULO: Among the new original productions in Globo’s catalog is the telenovela Lady Revolution, about a woman striving to achieve her dream of freedom in the 18th century.

Set during an important period in Brazilian history, Lady Revolution is filled with romance and adventure. The telenovela is loosely inspired by the book Joaquina, Filha do Tiradentes, by Maria José de Queiroz, and comes from the same director of the International Emmy Award-winning novela Side by Side.

Globo will be launching international sales on the title at NATPE in Miami later this month.
