Colombian Novela Mafia Dolls Hits WAPA América

MIAMI: WAPA América, which targets Puerto Ricans and other Caribbean Hispanics living in the U.S., has added to its lineup the hit Colombian novela Mafia Dolls (Las Muñecas de la Mafia).

The drama, produced by Caracol, is one of the most-watched series of all time in Colombia. It stars Angelica Blandon and Fernando Solorzano and is based on the hit novel The Fantastics (Las Fantasticas) by Andrés López. The story centers on five beautiful girls from El Carmen, a fictional Colombian town run by drug kingpin Braulio Bermudez.

Mafia Dolls was filmed in various cities across North and South America, including Miami, Cartagena and Bogota. It will air Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on WAPA América.
