Globo’s Precious Pearl Debuts in Albania

SÃO PAULO: Globo’s International Emmy-winning novela Precious Pearl has landed in Albania, airing on that country’s Top Channel.

The title is being broadcast with subtitles on a 7:30 p.m. time slot. The network previously licensed such Globo telenovelas as Snakes & Lizards, India: A Love Story, Tropical Paradise and Brave Woman, among others.

The novela portrays the love of working-class Amélia (Bianca Bin) and millionaire Franz Hauser (Bruno Gagliasso), who together have a daughter named Pearl. The show debuted recently on the Omni channel in Canada, along with Telemundo in the U.S., Armenia Public TV, Mongolia’s TV5 and the EPG media group in South Korea.
