Globo’s Caribbean Flower Lands in Czech Republic

SÃO PAULO: Globo’s telenovela Caribbean Flower has been sold into the Czech Republic, where it’s set to air on Barrandov TV.

The sale marks the first time the Czech network has licensed a product from a Brazilian broadcaster. The title will air dubbed and is set for a January premiere. In the region, Hungary and Armenia have also acquired broadcast rights for the novela.

Caribbean Flower tells the story of Cassiano (Henri Castelli), a pilot in the fighter aircraft squad for the Air Force, and Ester (Grazi Massafera), a tour guide, who have been in love since they were young. Things change for them when they fall victim to Alberto (Igor Rickli), a false friend who takes his rival out of the way to fulfill his secret dream of marrying Ester.
