VIS in First-Look Deal with Pablo Illanes

ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) has entered into a first-look deal with the Chilean writer, screenwriter, journalist and filmmaker Pablo Illanes.

The partnership covers the development of original scripted series as well as documentaries. Illanes, CEO of Arrebato Films, is known for creating several series and telenovelas, including Adrenalina, Machos, Alguien te mira, ¿Dónde está Elisa?, Perdona nuestros pecados and the Prófugos series.

He has also published three novels—Una mujer brutal, Fragilidad and Los amantes caníbales—and has directed two feature films, Baby Shower (2011) and Videoclub (2013).
