CAKE Adds Anna Pokorska as Sales Manager

Anna Pokorska has been appointed as the new sales manager at kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE.

In her new role, Pokorska will oversee international sales operations in Italy, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and Israel for shows including Angry Birds, Total Drama Island, Lucas The Spider, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super and Armorsaurs. She will report to Dominic Gardiner, CAKE’s managing director of distribution.

Pokorska’s experience exists in the animation and kids’ industries. Her portfolio of work includes acting as senior VP of sales at GFM Animation, managing global distribution of animated features at Wizart Animation, at Interfilm as CIS regional manager for Warner Bros. and casting manager for HBO CIS.

Her most recent role was on the consulting front for MK2 Films on animation acquisitions, among several other clients across the development and distribution of feature films and series.

Pokorska has produced two documentaries for ARTE, the animated series Beastly Crimes and contributed to the production of the feature film Polina.
