UVideos Boosts Scripted & Reality Offerings

MIAMI: Univision Communications’ bilingual digital platform UVideos is set to beef up its content offering, adding new original scripted and reality titles.

A highlight of the new content is Despierta América: El Reality, which takes a look at the process involved in putting together Univision Network’s popular morning show Despierta América. Another new reality addition is Beyond Beauty (Más Allá de la Belleza), which tracks contestants as they train for the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant.

Also debuting on the video platform are the scripted series The Eagle’s Spell (El Encanto del Águila) and Cries of Death and Liberty (Gritos de Muerte y Libertad). Both shows are historical dramas taking place during Mexico’s fight for independence. Finally, UVideos will present the comedy Sleeping with My Boss (Durmiendo Con Mi Jefe), a series of 18 short episodes produced by Televisa.
