Telemundo Global Studios Opens Mexico City Production Unit

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises has extended its production footprint with the opening of a new production unit in Mexico City, operating as Telemundo Global Studios Mexico.

The new production arm will increase the company’s on-the-ground production capabilities of scripted and unscripted content. The new Mexico-based production unit is currently in preproduction of its first project for the network, the eighth season of El Senor de los Cielos.
