Endemol Shine Brasil Appoints CEO

Banijay’s Endemol Shine Brasil has promoted Adriane “Nani” Freitas to CEO.

Since May, Freitas has been interim general director. She previously served as operations director, VP of production and operations, and production manager of TV, digital and branded content projects at Endemol Shine Brasil.

Under Freitas’ command, the company will continue to produce and license content that includes The Masked Singer, Love is Blind, MasterChef, Canta Comigo, Rolling Kitchen Brazil, Dança dos Famosos, BBB, No Limite and more.

Prior to joining Endemol Shine Brasil, Freitas held roles at Grupo Bandeirantes, SporTV and New Content.

“Occupying such an important and relevant chair within one of the world’s leading production companies fills me with enormous pride,” said Freitas. “And today, as women fight for salary equity and leadership positions, this is a recognition that is accompanied by a feeling of true gratitude. It was years of hard work, and I feel very honored.”

Freitas continued, “I have no doubt that the success of Endemol Shine Brasil is due to our extremely agile and motivated team. I am truly fortunate to work with such an efficient, amazing group of people.”

“I couldn’t be happier having Nani step into the role of CEO,” said Laurens Drillich, president of Endemol Shine Latino, to whom Freitas will continue to report. “She has proven to be a skillful, hardworking, down-to-earth and kind leader. In addition, today we have an extremely dedicated and talented team at Endemol Shine Brasil that will continue to create and produce extremely high-quality content and partner with all broadcasters, platforms, channels and brands in Brazil. This way, Endemol Shine Brasil will continue the remarkable growth we have experienced over the last few years and be the producer of the best known and most successful formats in the country.”
