OKAST, Broadpeak, Titan OS and Impresa have aligned to form the ASAP4EU (Advertisement Solutions and Analytics Platform) Consortium, which aims to develop solutions to drive AVOD and FAST adoption in Europe.

The consortium plans to introduce advanced interactive advertising solutions for FAST and AVOD platforms across Europe. The consortium is being co-funded under the Creative Europe Media umbrella for three years. It is led by OKAST, which powers VOD platforms and FAST channels; and includes Broadpeak, a streaming software provider; Titan OS, an independent OS and premium CTV advertising marketplace; and Impresa, which owns SIC in Portugal.

The focus of the consortium will be the tech infrastructure to drive FAST and AVOD monetization across Europe, including AI-based meta-content discovery, data traceability in line with European regulations, personalized FAST channels and AI-powered interactive ads. The members previously worked together on OKAST’s FAST4EU program, which focused on launching initial FAST channels and addressing EU-wide distribution strategies.

“Through this consortium, we unite expertise in technology, advertising, platforms and content with the goal of creating a fair, transparent and robust advanced advertising solution,” said Cédric Monnier, CEO and co-founder of OKAST. “Our ambition is to enhance European content monetization across FAST and AVOD platforms while fully respecting regulations and preserving the richness of our culture.”

“With this Consortium, Broadpeak is proud to leverage our deep expertise in video streaming and ad insertion technologies to foster innovation in the European media landscape,” added Mathias Guille, VP of the cloud platform at Broadpeak. “By collaborating with OKAST, SIC and Titan OS, we are advancing the capabilities of FAST and AVOD platforms, ensuring a seamless and enriched viewing experience for audiences while driving sustainable growth for content creators and advertisers alike.”

Tim Edwards, COO of Titan OS, added: “The TV advertising industry is changing. This consortium understands the key role of local expertise in Europe, from content distribution and localization to audience fragmentation and regulatory constraints. Through ASAP4EU, we will introduce advanced technologies and ad solutions to Titan OS that will strengthen our proposition to advertisers and content partners, expanding their distribution channels, helping them impact hard-to-reach audiences with relevant TV experiences and unlocking monetization opportunities for the entire ecosystem

“Joining the ASAP4EU Consortium marks a crucial moment for Impresa, as we will be using cutting-edge technology to revolutionize advertising in the European streaming landscape,” said Bruno Padinha, CDO of Impresa Group. “Our commitment to innovation and cultural integrity will lead us to unparalleled viewer engagement and raise the monetization potential of content creators across Europe. As a broadcaster and content creator, we are sure that this consortium will make us evolve, specifically OPTO SIC, our streaming platform.”
