BBC Studios’ Matt Forde Boards TV Formats Festival

Matt Forde, who was recently promoted to president of global production at BBC Studios, will deliver a keynote at the TV Formats Festival next week. You can register for free here.

Running from May 28 to 30, the inaugural edition of the TV Formats Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing all the major trends impacting the formats business across non-scripted and scripted.

The stand-alone global production business under Forde will scale the company’s production activities outside of the U.S. on the heels of the acquisitions of STV in the Nordics, Brutal in Spain and Werner in Australia and the success of formats like The 1% Club and Ghosts. At the virtual TV Formats Festival, Forde will discuss the benefits of the new structure, franchise management and trends across entertainment and scripted formats.
