Univision to Premiere New Novela

NEW YORK: Univision is slated to debut Crown of Tears (Corona de Lágrimas), a new Televisa telenovela starring Mexico’s Victoria Ruffo, early next week.

Crown of Tears is about the struggles of a woman who is forced to raise three sons by herself after their father leaves the family. Appearing alongside Ruffo will be Ernesto Laguardia, Maribel Guardia, Alejandro Nones, José María Torres, and Mane de la Parra, among other talents.

The show, produced by José Alberto Castro, is scheduled to premiere on the Univision Network on Monday, December 3 at 7 p.m.
