Globo TV Telenovela Expands Presence in Latin America

SÃO PAULO: Irrational Heart, a telenovela from Globo TV, has been acquired by broadcasters in Venezuela and Colombia.

The series was picked up by Venevision Plus in Venezuela and VMas TV in Colombia. Both channels are part of the Cisneros Group, which owns Venevision.

Irrational Heart, about a struggle between two brothers, stars Eriberto Leão (Paradise City) and Gabriel Braga Nunes (Her Own Destiny). Other members of the cast include Antônio Fagundes (Two Faces), Camila Pitanga (Cat’s Cradle), Deborah Secco (The Favorite) and Lázaro Ramos (Snakes & Lizards), to name a few.
