UniMás Slates Record TV’s Samson and Delilah

The biblical epic Samson and Delilah, from Record TV, is set to launch on the U.S. Spanish-language network UniMás on May 22.

Samson and Delilah will be airing Monday through Friday on UniMás in a 9 p.m. slot. The Brazilian production is based on the 16th chapter of the Book of Judges in the Hebrew Bible.

The story begins with the prophetic announcement that a young man will be born to dedicate his life to God as a Nazirite. Samson is given immense strength to save Israel from the hands of its enemies, but after falling in love with a Philistine woman, he breaks his vows and asks for her hand in marriage, unleashing consequences of betrayal and revenge. Delilah, a beautiful courtesan, then seduces Samson and attempts to unveil the secret of his strength.
