UniMás Launching New Talk Show This Summer

MIAMI: Univision Radio personality Enrique Santos is making the jump to the small screen with a new talk show set to premiere August 11 on the UniMás network.

Titled El Palenque de Enrique Santos, the show is scheduled to air Mondays to Fridays in a 5 p.m. time slot. The hour-long format will feature a studio audience and will be filmed on a set based on the colorful Mexican “palenque,” or arena. Full episodes of the show will be released on UVideos, with additional content being featured on the UniMás website.

Venevision Productions is handling the program for the network, which is part of Univision Communications. Santos, who recently signed a multiyear deal with Venevision, is the star of the Enrique Santos Show, which is broadcast on Univision Radio’s Miami affiliate and simulcast to other cities around the U.S. He also hosts the weekly program Uforia Countdown.
