Scripted Offerings for Globo at MIPCancun

CANCUN: Brazil’s Globo is arriving at this week’s MIPCancun with a catalogue featuring films, miniseries, telenovelas and series.

Among the highlights are the movies Men Are from Mars… And That’s Where I’m Going, which is an adaptation of a popular play, and the thriller Trust. Both of those films have already been licensed to the EPG media group in South Korea. Globo Filmes produced the features, along with the movie The Time and the Wind.

Additionally, Globo is offering two miniseries: Doomed, about a sommelier who gets involved with several married women, and The Party, a noir drama about a high-society bash that turns into a mysterious crime scene.
