Scripps Launches Food Network Across LatAm on DIRECTV

MIAMI: Scripps Networks Interactive has launched Food Network on DIRECTV across Latin America.

The channel, which was first released in Brazil, will be broadcast in both standard definition and high definition, and will offer global programming featuring kitchen competitions, culinary adventures, instructional cooking and home entertainment. The network is expected to reach more than 6 million viewers across the region. Food Network is distributed to more than 100 million U.S. households and is also available across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific.
