FNG Latin America to Drop Programming from DIRECTV

BUENOS AIRES: FOX Networks Group (FNG) Latin America and DIRECTV Latinoamérica have not yet been able to settle on new carriage terms, with several channels set to go dark on the platform at the end of the month if negotiations are not reached.

A statement released by FNG Latin America said that after months of negotiations, “it is unfortunate that an agreement for distribution renewal on channels and services has not been reached,” and that because “the necessary conditions have not been met, the airing of its programming will be interrupted at the end of this month.”

However, the company went on to say that it will “continue to make a major effort in reaching a deal.”

The statement highlights that “fans can continue enjoying all of our channels and services available on other pay-TV platforms.”
