FOX Networks Group LatAm Preps Series on Fidel Castro’s Love Life

BUENOS AIRES: FOX Networks Group (FNG) Latin America is developing InFidel (working title), a new original production that will glimpse into Fidel Castro’s love life.

Written by David Barraza Ibáñez, the 8×1-hour series will spotlight the women who were involved with the emblematic figure romantically. The series will reveal the never-told stories and the uncovered secrets of the leader’s intimate side.

InFidel will be part of FOX Premium’s content offering and is being developed by Entrelíneas, the production company led by José Alberto Castro.

“FNG Latin America has consolidated in the region as the source of innovative original content, with high-quality series that have appealed, inspired and captivated audiences through relevant themes and the strength of their characters,” said Edgar Spielmann, the executive VP and COO at FNG Latin America.

Filming is scheduled to start next year. The series is part of the company’s original fiction properties, which also include new seasons of Sitiados, #LlamameBruna, 1 Contra todos and the newly announced Aquí en la Tierra with Gael García Bernal.
