Discovery en Español Slates Originals on Sex Trafficking, Feminicides

MIAMI: Discovery en Español is set to premiere two new original productions next month investigating the harsh realities of sex trafficking in the U.S. and Mexico and the issue of feminicides.

Trata de Mujeres: De Tenancingo a Nueva York will be broadcast December 8 at 10 p.m. The production uncovers the sex-trafficking operations of mafia families who lure girls from small Mexican towns to seedy locations in New York.

Huesos Que Hablan premieres December 15 at 10 p.m. The documentary spotlights Ciudad Juarez’s Center for Forensics Services, which is tasked with solving the city’s thousands of violent crimes, especially feminicides.

Executive producers Michela Giorelli and Irune Ariztoy developed both documentaries for Discovery en Español, in collaboration with Pacha Films.
