MIP Cancun opened as a virtual content market and conference today with some 600 delegates representing 500 companies from 44 countries.
Focused on the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic content sectors, MIP Cancun is now in its seventh edition. The Reed MIDEM event provides one-on-one matchmaking, panels and keynotes.
According to the organizers, there are 150 buyers registered and 45 commissioners. The agenda includes 60-plus speakers, with 32 conferences and showcases. Six international pavilions are participating.
The event, which wraps November 20, also includes the second edition of the MIP Cancun Formats Pitch, produced by MIP Cancun in association with all3media international.
