Hemisphere Names New SVP of Digital Strategy & Development

Elizabeth Garcia Randall has been appointed senior VP of digital strategy and development at Hemisphere Media Group (HMTV).

In this newly formed role, Randall will be responsible for overseeing HMTV’s digital business strategy, with a focus on developing digital properties in the U.S. and Latin America for Spanish-speaking audiences. Randall most recently spearheaded and executed the digital and operational transformation of Discovery Inc.’s MotorTrend Group portfolio, helping to transform the legacy brand into an SVOD service. Prior to this, she served as director of corporate strategy and innovation at WarnerMedia.

Alan J. Sokol, president & CEO of Hemisphere, said: “Elizabeth is a transformational leader with a history of leading the innovation and evolution of media organizations in different capacities. Her experience in cross-channel strategy, along with her knowledge of the digital media landscape, dovetail perfectly with our vision and goals for the coming years. I’m confident that having her at the helm of our strategic digital operations will enable us to identify and develop digital offerings targeting the needs and interests of Spanish speakers in both the U.S. and Latin America. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Hemisphere family.”

Randall added: “I am truly excited to join the Hemisphere family; as a consumer of these brands for many years, I’m honored to have the opportunity to help architect their digital future.”
