Cineflix Rights Bolsters Sales Team

LONDON: Christopher Gordon has been hired as Cineflix Rights’ director of sales for Latin America.

In his new role, Gordon will work out of Toronto under Chris Bonney, the CEO of Rights for Cineflix Media. He is charged with managing program and format sales in the region. He is also expected to maintain and build new client relationships. Gordon is taking over the Latin America-related duties of Sabrina Ayala, the company’s VP of sales and acquisitions, who will now be concentrating her efforts on sales in Iberia, Italy and France.

Gordon previously served as the Iberia territory manager at BBC Worldwide. Before that he held positions at Sullivan Entertainment Europe and Granada International.

Latin America is a region where we’ve seen considerable growth in sales over the past few years under Sabrina’s leadership and we see a lot more potential for both our factual and scripted output. Christopher’s expertise and experience will help us build on our relationships with existing pan-Latin American clients and local broadcasters, as well as developing new relationships in the region as our slate evolves."
