Caracol Places Shows in the U.S., Canada

BOGOTÁ: The Mafia Dolls, one of two series from Colombia’s Caracol TV Internacional sold recently into North American markets, is set to make its U.S. debut tonight on the Mun2 network.

The mega production tells the story of Lucrecia (Amparo Grisales), the wife of powerful drug lord Braulio (Fernando Solórzano), and the measures she takes to scare away the groupies taking up her husband’s attention. The series, which has already aired in more than 50 countries, will premiere at 7 p.m. on the Latino-focused channel.

Canada’s TLN Telelatino picked up the musical drama The Voice of Freedom. That show is slated to debut tonight as well, at 8 p.m.
