MIPTV Spotlight: Escapade Media

The world of modern dating is front and center in the comedic drama 600 Bottles of Wine, which is being presented to international buyers by Escapade Media.

“The show was born through the identification of behaviors demonstrated by female interaction in digital and social media communities across the globe,” says Jessica Stonehouse, Escapade Media’s head of sales, partnerships and business development for the U.K. and U.S. “No matter where you are from, or what language you speak, women from all over the world can relate to this hilarious and very realistic series.”

Stonehouse believes viewers across the globe will also be able to relate to Walking Points, which examines the bond between humans and dogs and seeks to discover whether canines can actually detect cancer. In the drama series Undocumented, Bonnie is an Australian living in New York who finds out that she is an illegal immigrant.

“Escapade Media is dedicated to developing distinct content in line with the technological developments of the industry while offering titles that all have a distinct point of difference,” adds Stonehouse.
