Deep City creator Juan Carlos Coto and exec producer Rola Bauer, the managing director of STUDIOCANAL TV, tell World Screen’s Anna Carugati how the series came about and the important role that the city of Miami plays in the show.

The vibrant nightlife of Miami serves as the backdrop for the music-driven drama Deep City. The series is a saga about a cross-section of Miami performers, musicians and criminals and the intersection of various lives.

Deep City is created by writer/producer Juan Carlos Coto (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Nikita, 24), who also serves as executive producer alongside Callie Khouri, T Bone Burnett, Tim Halkin and Rola Bauer. STUDIOCANAL will be handling international sales on the drama.
