Comcast Cable & NBCUniversal Name SVP for Strategic Initiatives

NEW YORK: Kathy Kelly-Brown has been appointed senior VP of strategic initiatives for Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal.

Kelly-Brown will be responsible for identifying creative, technological and strategic opportunities across the entire portfolio of both Comcast and NBCUniversal. She will lead “Symphony,” the company-wide initiative that leverages both Comcast Cable’s and NBCUniversal’s assets to maximize consumer awareness and engagement. Most recently, Kelly-Brown served as senior VP of global talent booking.

Kelly-Brown will report to Neil Smit, CEO of Comcast Cable, and Steve Burke, CEO of NBCUniversal. She replaces Maggie McLean Suniewick, who was recently promoted to the newly created role of president of NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises.
