TBT Enterprises has clinched a deal with NBC Sports for the inaugural The Soccer Tournament (TST), featuring 32 teams from eight different countries competing in Cary, North Carolina, this June.

NBC Sports, which holds Premier League rights in the U.S., will have the exclusive rights to exhibit 27 TST matches live on Peacock. The winner-take-all championship match will be carried on Peacock and CNBC on June 4. NBC will broadcast an encore of the championship on June 10 following the conclusion of the Roland-Garros Women’s Final.

“On June 4th, two teams will face off in our championship game for a million dollars,” said Jon Mugar, TST founder and CEO. “The second-place team will get nothing. We are excited to showcase the drama of that moment and 26 additional high-stakes matches through this partnership with NBC Sports, home of the Premier League in the United States.”

“We’re excited to partner with The Soccer Tournament to present 27 matches of the inaugural, high-stakes competition and continue to add compelling content to Peacock’s robust soccer portfolio,” said Nick Casanova, senior director of programming at NBC Sports.

The event will see 32 teams competing in a World Cup-like group stage, with 16 advancing to the knockouts. Teams competing include seven-a-side teams from notable European and British clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, West Ham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wrexham. The tournament will also feature MLS club Charlotte FC, Liga MX’s Club Necaxa, Clint Dempsey’s Team Dempsey, and US Women, a team of former U.S. women’s national team players.

Peacock will stream 12 featured group stage matches live, which will include all of Wrexham’s games, in addition to matchups with Borussia Dortmund, West Ham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Como 1907, Team Dempsey, U.S. Women and more. Once the tournament reaches the knockout stage, Peacock will stream the remaining 15 matches live until the conclusion of the event.

Outside of the U.S., Goal.com’s YouTube channel will stream all of the TST matches, excluding Hapoel Tel Aviv’s, set for Sport1 in Israel, and Como 1907’s on Mola in Italy, Malaysia and Singapore.
