Venevision International Unveils DISCOP West Asia Lineup

MIAMI: This DISCOP West Asia Venevision International is set to highlight Lucia’s Secrets (Los Secretos de Lucia), a telenovela, among other titles.

Lucia’s Secrets, starring Iran Castillo, Juan Pablo Raba, Lucia Reina and Miguel Gaitan, follows the life of a woman who is suffering from amnesia. The 80×45-minute show is produced by Venevision in association with Univision Studios in the U.S. and BE-TV in Colombia.

The company also plans to present Rosario and The Talisman (El Talisman), two telenovelas from Venevision Productions in the U.S., as well as My Ex Wants Me (Mi Ex Me Tiene Ganas) and The Love Curse (Valgame Dios), both of which were produced by Venevision in Caracas.

Manuel Perez, the VP and CFO of Venevision International, commented: "We just began the year with a great market [NATPE], and now we expect to continue this successful trend at DISCOP, especially since we are introducing four novelas that we have not presented at this market before, in addition to fresh new series like My Life in Sayulita (Mi Vida en Sayulita), a seductive reality [show], and A Legend of Shaolin Kungfu (La Leyenda de Shaolin), which contains masterful Kungfu battles scenes. This is only a sample of the diversity contained in our catalogue, which continues to grow with products of highest quality and integrity from our production houses, as well as from select independent companies."
