Telenovela Candy Love Heads to Turkey

BUENOS AIRES: Telefe’s successful telenovela Candy Love (Dulce Amor) is slated to begin airing on the Show TV network in Turkey later this month.

Candy Love will begin broadcasting on Turkey’s Show TV on weekdays on October 12 at 4:30 p.m. The series is co-produced by Telefe and LCA Producciones. Telefe is the exclusive distributor of Candy Love, which was a prime-time hit in Argentina. The show’s premiere on Show TV will mark the first time a Latin novela has aired on an open-TV Turkish network in the past five years.

The original version of Candy Love was also sold to broadcasters in El Salvador, Bosnia, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Angola and Mozambique, while its format has been adapted in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. The show will also get a local treatment in the Middle East and has been optioned in Italy.
