Globo Takes Brazilian Telenovela to NATPE

SÃO PAULO: Later this month Globo is slated to highlight Brazil Avenue, a successful telenovela starring Débora Falabella (Little Missy) and Adriana Esteves (Belíssima), at NATPE.

Brazil Avenue tells the story of a woman who is trying to regain control of her life, which was once ruined by her stepmother. The show was written by João Emanuel Carneiro, who penned Shades of Sin.

The hit telenovela has become one of Globo’s largest recent prime-time successes. Its overall average audience in Brazil, according to market research company IBOPE, was 42 rating points with a 69-percent market share.
