Globo Places First Novela in the Philippines

SÃO PAULO: The Philippines' free-to-air channel ABS-CBN has picked up The Life We Lead from Globo, marking the country's first telenovela from the Brazilian outfit.

Starring Fernanda Vasconcellos (Pages of Life), The Life We Lead centers on a woman who is attempting to put her life back together after recovering from a tragic accident that resulted in a coma. The show is set to debut on ABS-CBN on Monday, August 25. It will be dubbed into the local language of Tagalog.
