Globo Lands Four Novelas in Vietnam

SÃO PAULO: Globo has licensed four of its novelas to Vietnamese channel Las Viet, including the International Emmy-winning Precious Pearl.

The other titles are Helena’s Shadow, Brazil Avenue and The Life We Lead. All four will be dubbed in Vietnamese before airing on the female-skewing pay-TV channel on a special time slot for telenovelas.

Precious Pearl has been licensed elsewhere in Asia, including to the EPG media group in South Korea and TV5 in Mongolia. Helena’s Shadow was also picked up by TV5, while The Life We Lead has been nabbed by TDM in Macau and ABS-CBN for the Philippines. Brazil Avenue has also sold across Asia.
