Globo Highlights Destiny River for NATPE

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International is gearing up for NATPE with a range of new content on its slate, including the telenovela Destiny River.

The Brazilian distributor will launch its catalogue of new titles featuring telenovelas, series and documentaries at the market, highlighting the novela Destiny River. The drama is about a brave man (Murilo Rosa) whose life is threatened by an indigenous curse, and a mysterious native girl (Cléo Pires) who must challenge her destiny and overcome obstacles to live her great romance. It received a nomination at the 2011 International Emmy Awards in the best telenovela category.
