Global Agency Takes On Package of Portuguese Telenovelas

Global Agency has entered into an exclusive distribution deal with Portugal’s SIC that covers five telenovelas.

The agreement sees Global Agency taking on the distribution rights for More Than Love, Frozen Memories, Heart of Gold, Will for Revenge and Winter Sun. Heart of Gold, which aired in 2016, increased the channel’s share up to 30 percent compared to its previous 18 percent.

Izzet Pinto, the CEO of Global Agency, said: “We are extremely happy to be partnering with SIC, one of the major Portuguese broadcasters. I believe this association will enable the two companies to build and develop synergies together. It is the first time that we are partnering with SIC and I am certain that it won’t be the last.”
