The number of pay-TV subscribers in Sub-Saharan Africa is forecast to increase by 74 percent between 2017 and 2023 to reach 40.89 million, according to Digital TV Research.

According to Digital TV Research, Middle East and North Africa OTT TV episodes and movies will generate revenues of $1.75 billion by 2022, which is more than four times the $428 million recorded last year.
