TV Latina has scheduled a new edition of the TV Latina Festival to be held from November 7 to 10, which will include an interview with internationally acclaimed actress, producer, philanthropist, activist and co-founder of Cholawood Productions, Kate del Castillo.

The four-day event, which once again reunites the leading players in the media industry, looks to highlight what producers, creators and executives from Latin America’s top streaming services and distributors, as well as renowned talent, are currently working on for the global stage.

Del Castillo is the star of Telemundo and Netflix’s La reina del Sur, which just launched its third season. Telemundo recently debuted Armas de mujer, which will also air on NBCUniversal’s Peacock. Her production house, Cholawood Productions, has an overall deal with Endemol Shine Boomdog and focuses on developing and producing content directed by Latin women. The brands have worked together on creating A Beautiful Lie for Pantaya, a modern take in Spanish on Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina.

“The level of participants for this new edition of the TV Latina Festival confirms once again why our publication, both print and online, continues to be a leader in the media industry, with more than 25 years to back it up,” said Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari, editor of TV Latina. “We look forward to sharing these conversations that give an in-depth look at today’s media industry.”

Other top names that will also be part of the new edition of the TV Latina Festival will be announced shortly. As in previous editions, registration for the event is free and will open soon.
