TV Latina Screenings Festival Adds New Names to Lineup

Alejandro Rincón, CEO at Endemol Shine Boomdog, and Luis Zelkowicz, screenwriter for the Emmy Award winner El señor de los cielos, as well as José Manuel Lorenzo, president and founder of DLO Producciones, are the new additions to the lineup for the TV Latina Screenings Festival, which is to be held between May 10 and 13.

Lorenzo is also the creator of El inmortal for Movistar Plus+ in association with Telemundo Streaming Studios.

The four-day event will combine interviews with creators, studio directors and distribution executives, as well as virtual screenings on the latest offerings in drama, entertainment, factual and feature films, among other genres.

Daniel Écija, creator, showrunner, producer and founder of Good Mood; Leonardo Padrón, the creator of Pálpito; and José Ignacio Valenzuela, the creator of Netflix’s ¿Quién mató a Sara?, will also be part of the event. On the studio side of the business, Federico Cuervo, senior VP and general director at VIS Americas, and Dago García, VP of production and content at Caracol Televisión, will be part of the festival.

On the distribution side, Barbora Suster, director for Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights; María Lucía Hernández, international sales director at RCN Televisión; Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and sales and acquisitions director at Inter Medya; and Francisco Villanueva, COO at SOMOS Distribution, will participate.
