TV Azteca Hires Telemundo’s Melissa Pillow

Telemundo alum Melissa Pillow is joining TV Azteca International as an exclusive sales representative for Europe, Israel, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.

Pillow previously was employed by NBCUniversal’s Telemundo Internacional for the past decade. She has more than 17 years of experience working in the international television industry.

Fidela Navarro, the director of TV Azteca International, remarked: “Melissa is a great professional with many years of experience, [and she has] a style and view that is 100-percent compatible with ours. We are excited that she is stepping up to the challenge of repositioning our content in the international market.”

Pillow noted: “It is such an honor to become part of the great TV Azteca International team and I would like to thank [them] for putting [their] trust in me to showcase the great catalog and new productions released by TV Azteca for all of its customers.”

Meanwhile, Juan Antonio Fernández, a former sales rep at TV Azteca International, has departed the company. Navarro added: “We are thankful to Juan Antonio for all of his support, work and friendship. We wish him the best of luck in his upcoming and current projects.”
