Telemundo Station Group Gets Mexico City Office

MIAMI: Telemundo Station Group has opened a Mexico City-based business development branch, which is being led by media expert Juan Witt.

The new office is intended to encourage investments from companies in Mexico and the rest of Latin America that are looking to enter the U.S. Hispanic market. Witt will serve as the VP of business development. He will report to Tom Arnost, the executive VP and chief revenue officer of Telemundo Station Group. Prior to this appointment, Witt was the senior VP of New Business Mexico for Univision Communications. Before that he was the general manager of Urban Media, an advertising organization.

"Juan brings a great wealth of expertise in leading the commercial path from Mexico to the U.S. Hispanic market," stated Arnost. "His proven track-record driving revenue growth and tremendous market credibility make him a great addition to our team as he will play a key role in the continued growth and success of Telemundo Local Media."
