Telemundo Lines Up Nicky Jam & José José Biopics

MIAMI: U.S. Spanish-language network Telemundo is slated to premiere a pair of biopic series based on the lives of Hispanic music legends Nicky Jam and José José.

El Ganador is a biographical program about Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Nicky Jam that is produced by Endemol Shine Latino and Boomdog. Nace un Ídolo is a serialized Telemundo Studios production spotlighting Mexican musician José Sosa Ortiz, better known as José José. These two programs follow the success of the channel’s hits Celia and Hasta Que Te Conocí.
