Telemundo Internacional Ties Up with Chilevision

MIAMI: Telemundo Internacional has secured a deal with Chilevision that sees the Chilean broadcaster acquiring formats and other Telemundo productions to air on the channel.

Starting January 1, 2015, the agreement spans formats, telenovelas and series. It includes Caso Cerrado, hosted by Dr. Ana Maria Polo.

"This agreement gives us great satisfaction as Telemundo content has maintained a prominent placement on Chilean television in the last ten years and we are confident that their performance in our home will be even more relevant," said Pablo Morales, the director of content and production for Chilevision.

"This agreement is significant for Telemundo Internacional and ensures the continued presence of our content in Chile through one of the channels with the highest penetration in the country," added Esperanza Garay, the senior VP of sales and acquisitions for Latin America at Telemundo Internacional.
