Pasiones Lines Up Argentine Miniseries The Pact

Pasiones has set an August 11 premiere for the Argentine miniseries The Pact (El Pacto) on its Latin American feed.

Inspired by real events, the 13-episode crime series alludes to the sale of the largest Argentine newsprint manufacturer, Papel Prensa, during Argentina’s last military dictatorship (1976-1983). It tells the story of Lucía Córdova, a lawyer specializing in economic crimes, who takes on the controversial liquidation case.

Cecilia Roth and Federico Luppi star in the drama, which also features Mike Amigorena, Luis Ziembrowski, Cristina Banegas and Eusebio Poncela.
